Since 1980, undefeated NFL teams from Game Twelve out

opposition. Yes, we realize that the Pack played last Thursday while
the Giants played this past Monday but teams with this added rest
advantage are only 10-9 ATS since 1982

New Orleans’ 0-4 ATS log after a Monday night game along with HC Sean
Payton’s 2-9 ATS mark as a favorite versus a .500 or greater opponent
off a SU loss clearly tells us that the Lions stay within the number,
Detroit’s 6-1 SU and 5-1-1 ATS record in its last seven road games
says the outright win is within reach.

Harbaugh is at his best this time of the year, going 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS during the regular
campaign from Game Thirteen out in games versus opponents off
a loss.

Rhoads is a steady 6-1 ATS as a double-digit dog versus an opponent off a SU and ATS win

Tigers currently lead the nation with a +17 net in takeaways but they are just 1-7 ATS as favorites with conference revenge and a carefree 0-7 ATS in Last Home Games. And with Miles

little palindrome (well sort of): the Bears are 1-11-1 ATS off back-toback
SU wins versus an opponent off back-to-back SU losses while
the Chargers are 11-2 ATS away off back-to-back SU losses versus a
foe off back-to-back SU wins

Bills hit South Beach knowing they are 10-0 ATS in games off back-to-back losses against
an opponent they most recently defeated.

Ryan’s 14-1 SU and 11-4 ATS career mark at home against .600 or less opponents
shines, especially when playing off a SU and ATS loss (4-0 SU and
ATS). Smith’s 15-3 SU and ATS record in games off a loss sparkles,
too. Enter Tennessee, feeling mighty giddy off last week’s 27-point
road win at Carolina.

THIS is the Trojans’ bowl game, and they could care less about the Ducks’ 21-game home win streak.

Mack’s men are on a ‘Mission’ from a 25-point setback they
suffered in Manhattan last year – a game in which they outstatted
the Wildcats by 142 yards. And ol’ Mackie, himself, is a perfect 5-0
ATS after his teams score less than 6 points (provided they did not
get shut out) and an equally impressive 5-0 ATS off a SU loss versus a
conference foe off a SU dog win.

Teams heading back on the
road off a double-digit SU road loss as a favorite are 27-11-1 ATS
versus a foe off a SU loss, including 7-0 ATS when taking more than 6
points. On the fl ip side, teams returning home as conference favorites
after that surprising loss are just 1-9 ATS when hosting an opponent
of a SU favorite loss.

Seminoles are a miserable 1-6 ATS the week after beating the Hurricanes

Bearcats won the game but lost the stats against Pitt last week while
the Mountaineers outgained the Cardinals, 533-351, in their 38-35
home loss. WVU takes the fi eld at Paul Brown Stadium today backed
by an exceptional 14-2 SU record when playing off a SU loss the last
seven years – with both defeats coming by an identical margin of just
3 points

Baltimore is 1-12 ATS as road favorites off back-to-back
SU wins when facing .333 or less opposition and, of course, the post-
Mike Tomlin syndrome is now wide awake as teams after facing
Tomlin’s Steelers are 10-25 ATS as favorites in the following game.

Truly one of the more amazing stories in the NFL this season has been the dramatic turnaround of the Houston defense. A 377-yard per game disaster last season, the Texans have thrived under
new DC Wade Phillips, wielding the league’s No. 1 ranked stop unit this season, allowing just 274 YPG.

Black-and-Gold enters
this fray knowing they are 14-3 SU and 13-4 ATS in games in this
series when the Striped Cats own an equal or better win percentage,
including 8-1 SU and ATS when the Steelers are laying anything less
than 7 points.

The hottest moneymaking team in the NFL (9-1 ATS last 10 regular season
games) is also 7-3 SU in that span and there’s no reason to
believe that the Bengals will slow down anytime soon

Mightily aiding Denver’s cause
is Oakland’s putrid 0-8 SU and ATS mark in games when playing
with rest and its 2-12 SU and 1-11 ATS record as favorites in games
against sub .500 opposition. The Broncos’ 8-3 SU and 9-2 ATS mark
as dogs of 3 or more points in games against opponents off a SU
favorite loss clinches it.

Only two of the Miami losses have been by more than
double-digit margins (to division rivals) and they have held leads late
in each of their last two games.

Bears make their backers much
happier when the play in Waco – they’re 4-0 SU and 3-0 ATS at
home but 0-3 SU and ATS away this year. Throw an impressive 6-1
‘In The Stats’ effort into the mix with a team that’s just salivating
to rip someone’s head off (outscored 114-52 in losses to Texas A&M
and Oklahoma State) and this looks like one of the season’s best
opportunities to ring the register with Baylor. Sure, they gave up
big yards in last week’s loss to the Cowboys but QB Robert Griffi n
III led the Bears to a whopping 622 yards of offense that was largely
overlooked due to the lopsided 59-24 score.

Not only is the black-and-gold a stout 6-1-1 ATS as home dogs of 3 or
more points, they’re also an incredible 22-4 SU in their last 26 home
games – with only ONE loss coming by more than 5 points.

The ‘Cats are 4-1 ATS
in the second of back-to-back road games while Nebraska weighs in
with a 0-4 ATS mark playing the second of consecutive homers. Even
worse for the Huskers, head coach Bo Pelini owns an awful 2-11 ATS
log as double-digit home chalk off a SU win, including 0-5 ATS if the
opponent shows up with a sub .500 record. With No. 1 quarterback
Dan Persa struggling through injuries all season, Fitzgerald has
managed to create a two-headed QB tandem – pairing Kain Colter
with Persa – that’s actually produced results on the scoreboard. No
doubt Nebraska will be looking for another stifl ing performance
from its defense but we think the hungry Wildcats will bring enough
offense to trap the corn boys in a back-and-forth shootout.

Cardinals might be the best-kept secret in college
football this season. The Redbirds have held three of their last four
foes to season-low yards

The Bearcats walloped NC State, 44-14, in their
only revenge payback to date this season and are probably a bit more
eager for this conference foe, especially since they outgained the
Bulls, 590-378, in last year’s 38-30 loss as 9-point home chalk.

Wildcats are the culprit in this own an unconvincing
0-4 ATS mark as road chalk of 7 or more points. Kansas should be
frothing at the mouth for a piece of the purple here: last year’s 57-7
beheading of the Jayhawks was the worst loss of KU head coach Turner
Gill’s career. Gill stands 16-7-1 ATS with conference revenge, including
8-0-1 ATS when off a pointspread win of 6 or more points.

Larry Fedora’s birds have won four straight, averaging over 48 PPG
in those contests. They’re a near-perfect 5-0-1 ‘In The Stats’ this season.

Dolphins return home following Monday night’s
pathetic performance against the Jets. Unfortunately for the Fish, there
is no special talent on this team nor any redeeming numbers benefiting
them when playing at home, where they are 1-11 SU and 2-10 ATS
in their last 12 games at Sun Life Stadium, and 2-11 ATS as favorites
under soon-to-be-departed head coach Tony Sparano.
